Ventura Locker provides our customers the ability to create a user account and login to there processing portal. We provide online ordering for Beef and Hogs, as well as providing you full history to your orders. Our online ordering form is pretty basic and simple. Please read the following as it pertains to online ordering choices and options.
Beef Processing: We process beef as whole, halves, and quarters(split sides so you get a little bit of everything)
T-Bones are bone in unless New Yorks and Filets are specified in the notes section.
Ribeyes and Sirloins are boneless unless specified bone in, in the notes section.
Round steaks are packaged according to number of steaks per package selected. 2 or less per package and the round will be packaged 1/2 a steak per package. If 3 or more selected round steak will be packaged a whole steak per package.( approx 2#)
If you choose ground beef patties please state in the notes how much you would like in patties and how many per package.
If you select stew meat please specify quantity in the trim notes section.
Pig processing: We process pigs as whole and halves only.
Chops: If you would like a mixture of regular 3/4" chops and Iowa chops 1 1/4" please specify in the notes section. If you only select 1 thickness all your chops will be the same thickness. If you want smoke chops please let us know in the notes if you want them all smoked or how much you would like smoked.
Trim:On an average whole pig when everything is kept ( chops, shoulders, hams, bacons) there is average 20-25# of trim available for the following products.
2 options on a whole hog 1 option on a half a hog unless you are adding shoulders or hams to the ground.
Ground Pork, Ground pork patties, Breakfast sausage, sausage patties, Brats, brat patties, and Mild Italian sausage.
